Does a Spring Break require a Cast?
Assuming this works, I thought you might enjoy a little video clip on procrastination (I would say it is rated PG-18, but you are all adults). I found it in an interesting culture & technology article from Slate magazine. See the link on Ze Frank . . . Slate article under cool links.
Have a great week off and be safe!

This time of year we all have long procrastination queues, I’m sure. Besides all the papers and research projects to be done in the next several weeks, I have the journal articles and my NETS narratives like y’all. Being an experienced procrastinator, I am practicing the advanced technique of procrastinating on my vacation week. You might think that posting this comment is not really good procrastination, but I should actually be studying for the multiple subject CSET I need to take in May. Anyone know anything about phonemic awareness skills?
Procrastination queues? I don’t even want to think about it. You notice I am posting early this time. I’m already feeling the pressure of the end of the semester creeping up on me. Besides, three course at CSUSM, each with own list of items due to procrastinate on, I have cocker spaniels, too many right now, so I’m trying to cut back on them. Anyone need a nice dog? -- With a lot of hair that needs grooming. When you procrastinate, they become matted and take forever to get brushed out. I have two kids who need lots of my time and a job all day three days a week, and I have no one helping me. I’m tired but trudging along. I must not procrastinate - nope - I cannot. I also need to study for my CBEST.
Hmm... well my queue is quite full at the moment... I need to work on my taskstream narratives, finish a case study for 521, sign up for whatever test is next in the credentialing process, do the journals for this class and hmm... I'm sure there is more. The great thing about procrastination... is that is always gives you something to look forward to!!
let's see............I need to work on my Copyright, Journals, 2-10 page research papers, compare 3 schools for Ed 364, Study for the CBEST, Read 4 chapter for ED 364, and about 7 for ED 350. oh and study for a Calculus Exam. oh and lets not forget my 21st. wait im not done yet, I have to have an Open House this weekend and Work 30 or so hours during the week. there is still more, I have to do 20 hours of school observation and help a teacher with her class. I think that is it. I HOPE. LOL
FUN is waiting in my procrastination Q...ahhh! Thank God Coachella is just around the corner:)
In my procrastination queue I would include keeping up with the journals, the NETS narratives, signing up for CBEST, my math homeworks, among others. I guess I better start that today since next week is getting close.
Normally I am not a procratinator. I cannot stand waiting until the last minute to do anything. I just feel like once I have my school work done, I can relax. Even if it is not due for a while, it is always in the back of my mind...so I cannot relax. However, this semester, I have to say that I have put a lot of things off until the last minute.I have my Journals 6-10 to do, and my NETS narratives. In my ES 100 class I have a paper that is due soon that I have not even started. This is definately not like me at all!It usually drives me nuts to have things due this soon and not have it done already. I don't know if I am just getting into a slump, or what is going on. But, given my personality (after this slump) I know I will be right back to being a NON-procrastinator!
I also don't want to think about all the things I need to do! Well, I did a couple hours of classroom observation for Ed350 during spring break. However, I need to work on copyright assignment, taskstream, journal articles,Ed 350 Assignment, study for a lecture quiz for GES102, VSAR302 assignments and I also have to work on that research paper for ES 100. The good thing is I don't have work this coming week because the kids at my work are on spring break!
I have waaaaaaaaay too much to list for my procrastination queue -I better take this quiz in order to survive this semester!

My procrastination queue has plenty because I am the worst procrastinator ever. I have the journals to work on, the copyright assignment, the taskstream narratives (altho I have at least posted most of my assignments on there as a start =]), a quiz at 8am tomorrow morning as well as term papers that should have at least been started in my other courses. Pressure!
I procrastinate on just about eveerything. I have found that when I do do things early I dont get as good as a grade as when I do procrastinate. So just about everything!
Well anything that needs to be fixed and/or costs money I tend to put off doing... Like fixing things that cost money... Right now I currently have like five watched that all need new batteries... I just have to get them replaced.
I have been procrastinating since the first day of college. To me it always seems that there is something else to do besides homework. I work really well under pressure and when I have lots of time to think about the assignment and how I want it to work. In my queue now is all of my assignments for this class and reading for other classes. I know they will all get done!
I'd like to think that I have that procrastination thang down,... I would display my procrastination credentials here, but I just don't feel like it. Suffice it to say, I'm responding to this post 9 days after it was posted, because I was putting off working on my journals (of which I've completed one or two), and putting off any further catching up on catching up. Funny vid though!
My procrastination queues could go on forever... As you can see I have procrastinated on my entry, along with my journals, and copyright assignment. In other classes I have procrastinated as well. I have tutoring hours I am behind on, along with papers and assignments. I have always been a horrible with procrastinating and I keep getting worse. I do always pull through somehow though. Only two more semesters to tough it out, and then comes the real world procrastination!!!
Let's see... I just returned from spring break and I got nothing accomplished -- except a lot of rest and relaxation. What I should have done: Studied for the CSET, read Nick Flynn's memoir, completed a paper for 364, began a project for 364, written a few journal entries-- for this class and two others, returned phone calls, paid bills, etc. etc. Instead, I had a great time sleeping in, going to the gym on my own time, not looking at a calendar, turning twenty-three, hanging out, and watching a lot of girly movies! Ah, it's "great" to be back. ;)
I am procrastinated on my reserch paper for my 400 level history class. I feel that I have time and I can do other things but I am realizing that time is RUNNING OUT! Darn life is rough.
well, i waited until after spring break to do this comment and i havent touched any homework break so you can say everything is on my procrastination list! :)
I know I have a lot of procrastination queues on my plate. I have to post my article summaries. I have to work on my reflection paper, my taskstream narratives and also work on my reading assignments. Hopefully I will get everything done.
Currently I have a seminar paper that is on the back burner, and it is stressing me out just typing about it. I do have good sources (books) to research... I just need to do it.
hahah do you really want to know professor Heil? Well, journals and my taskstream profile that is due at the end of this month!
uff, there is so much that needs to be done.Taking five classes at Cal State isnt easy. There is homework from each of them, some are long readings, long essays, studying, it can all be done, but I hate when I have the feeling of stress, and also a test i"m taking in June, CSET, and work of couse. Well, thats life ins't it?
LOL, gee I almost forgot my password to post, and luckyly I guessed it right!!
I am such a procrastinator! I was putting off my response to this question because I could not bare the thought of posting during spring break… I often feel that I am waiting until the last minute to do homework… I am putting off working out(sham on me)… Also, my car is due for a check-up… I have come to the conclusion that I work best under pressure.:)
I am currently procrastinating on many things. Term papers, journals and assignments, it seems the more and more I tell myself Im not going to procrastinate this semester, the more it happens. Hopefully I will get caught up before finals week!

My procrastination queue is too long to mention. I'm currently taking 22 units to graduate this spring and have been so busy my head is spinning. I did school work for a couple hours each day of spring break and I'm still not caught up.
Procrastination? What is this? I never fail to do my projects late or last minute.
No, i'm lying. I could be doing a lot of projects for every class and this question is starting to give me anxiety!!!!
Procastination queues? Well it's that time of year again (TAX TIME) and oh by the way, my Husband and I will try, and I honestly mean try to get the TAXES done after Easter Sunday. I am feeling overwhelm right now. Just look at the date that I am posting this comment. O/O
Lets just say that I can't even get excited about only having six weeks of school left, because all I can see is the mountain of tasks in front of me.
I have a lot in front of me, just like everyone else! I have many more projects to complete, papers to write, and lessons to teach. I don't even want to think about it!
Procrastination Queues? Hows this to date?
